Guest Speaker, Caleb Jones

Caleb Jones grew up in rural Missouri, where county fairs, farm life and community go hand in hand. Raised on a family farm in Moniteau County, he learned early the values that define rural life — hard work, resilience and neighbors helping neighbors. From raising hogs and cattle to attending a small country school, Caleb’s roots in rural Missouri continue to shape his work today.

A lifelong supporter of agriculture and youth leadership programs, Caleb was a member of the Busy Bee 4-H Club, earned both his Missouri State and American FFA Degrees and was named the 1997 Missouri FFA State Star Farmer.

Over the years, Caleb has served as a state representative, worked on Capitol Hill for a congressman, served as deputy chief of staff for a Missouri governor and was appointed by President George W. Bush as a special assistant at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Today, he serves as CEO of Missouri Electric Cooperatives, representing the state’s 47 electric cooperatives and the members they serve across rural Missouri.

Caleb and his wife, Lindsey, live in Boone County with their two children, Max and Charlie, where their family still enjoys the traditions and values of rural life that first shaped him growing up on the farm.
