The form in the link below will be used for exhibitors to pre-register their market swine for the 2026 Boone County Fair. Please provide your information below. You can exclude the EID question if you do not already have that from your veterinarian. You must complete 1 form per head (If you have two market swine, please fill out the form twice). If you have any questions or need help reading your swine ear notches, please contact Nicole Sjostrand at 573-823-2667. THE DEADLINE TO PRE-REGISTER IS MAY 6TH. YOU WILL STILL NEED TO REGISTER FOR THE FAIR SHOW THRU SHOWMAN AFTER JUNE 1.
Swine Show Rules

Rules listed in the general rules section in addition to the following rules will apply to the swine show.
- Exhibitors must be enrolled and a member in good standing in a 4-H swine project or FFA SAE program in Boone County

All project animals must be owned, in the possession of, and under the care of the exhibitor by May 6th of the current year.
- All hogs must be identified by universal ear notch numbering.
- All market hogs must submit a proof of ownership form via email by May 6.
- All hogs must meet the current health requirements of the Missouri Department of Agriculture, State Veterinary Health Regulations.
- Exhibitors may show a maximum of 3 market animals and a maximum of 2 breeding animals per breeding class.
- Pigs born after December 1st previous year are eligible to show. Market classes will be broken by weight. Pure bred breeding gilts will be broken by age; & crossbred breeding gilts by weight.
- Pure bred gilts must present registration papers at weigh-in.
- Hogs entered in the market class weighing less than 230 pounds will be entered in the ultra-lightweight class and will not be eligible for the auction.
- Bedding will not be provided.
- Out of county exhibitors can show off trailers or pen in the Arrival & weigh times will still be enforced.
- All pigs in place between 12:00 am and 8:00 am day of show. All pigs MUST be in place by 8:00 am or not allowed to weigh. Contact the superintendent prior to 8:00 am day of show with unforeseen circumstances.
- All pigs are to be weighed between the hours of 9 am and 10 am. Weigh-in will be conducted with superintendent/fair board member and at least one other volunteer present and monitoring weights at the scale.
- MARKET CLASSES WILL BE BARROWS & GILTS.
- Open show participants need to plan on showing from trailers.
