Online entries will be open until noon on Monday, July 14, 2025 and will incur a fee of $10. Any late registrations are $15 and must be done in person at the baby contest from 3-5:30 pm at the fairgrounds.

Little Mr. & Miss Contest Rules & Information
Contest will start immediately following the baby contest at Boone County Fairgrounds.
1. Open to children ages 6 & 7 only. Age division reflects the child’s age as of the day of the contest. Be prepared to provide proof of
age if needed.
2. Entries will be limited to Boone County residents only.
3. All returned checks are subject to at $35 returned check fee.
4. Judging will be based on the following: personality and appearance & proper clothing.
5. Girls must be dressed in a simple dress. Boys should be in a shirt with a collar and slacks or shorts. This is a contest not a pageant therefore overly frilly attire is not appropriate and make-up is not allowed.
6. Children will be expected to appear independently on the stage, and speak briefly into the microphone stating their name, age, and favorite thing at the fair as part of the judging.
7. Winner is expected to be present at various events throughout the fair.
8. Prizes will be announced the night of the contest.
9. Check in time will start at 5:00 p.m. NO REFUNDS!
10. Chairperson has the right to disqualify anyone not following ALL contest rules.
11. Contestants who win the title of Little Mr. or Little Miss are ineligible to compete in
the same category in future years.
Daily fair admission will be collected at the fairgrounds upon entry.
